Aviation Summer Camps are an awesome opportunity for high school students ages 13-17 to experience many aspects of aviation.  Two options are available: Those who are generally interested in aviation and want to get some experience will find the Aviation Summer Camp to be their best bet, for those with more experience in aviation or who have already experienced an Aviation Summer Camp, the Advanced Aviation Summer Camp will enhance the knowledge already gained and truly prepare participants for a more in-depth career oriented / experienced environment.

Join two nationally recognized aviation facilities, Western Michigan University's College of Aviation and the Air Zoo for a week of educational experiences including:

  • Enhancing leadership skills
  • Piloting the advanced WMU Cirrus SR-20 and simulation devices
  • Speakers from the industry
